Soy Milk and Strawberry & Banana Soy Smoothie Recipe

Fresh fruit, first thing in the morning tastes so delicious. Keep the calories down and the protein up by substituting soy milk for skim milk. It will keep you from feeling hungry longer, with fewer calories, with less than five minutes to make.  Take a look…



 
 
It doesn't have the fatty richness that even skim milk does. But, all the protein is worth it. The banana added in this recipe below makes it hard to tell you've used soy milk instead of skim milk.
Strawberry & Banana Soy Smoothie

Ingredients:

½ banana. Peeled
4-8 strawberries, washed and hulled
1 ½ C vanilla un-sweetened soy milk
1-2 packets of sweetener, or, 1T honey
3-4 ice cubes
Optional- light whipped cream

Directions:

Place all ingredients into a blender. Blend. Pour into a glass(es), and garnish. Serves 1 or 2.
