Philadelphia Low-fat Cream Cheese and Creamy Vegetable Dip Recipe

This quick and simple dip is great served as an appetizer that never lasts very long. In less than 10 minutes, you’ll have a dip that gets lots of compliments. It tastes very fresh and bright and of course, even though it's lower fat, it's still extra chunky and creamy. Try this one today…

Fresh & Creamy Vegetable Dip

1 8oz pkg lower fat cream cheese, softened
2 T light mayonnaise
1 T lemon juice
½ t salt
1/8 t ground pepper

¾ C diced carrots (1 or 2)
½ C diced celery (2 stalks)
½ C diced bell peppers (any color or a combination)
¼ C diced green onions

Beat and combine first five ingredients until smooth, cover, and refrigerate while chopping vegetables.
Remove cream cheese mixture from refrigerator and add diced vegetables. Makes about 3 cups of dip. Garnish and serve with toasted whole grain wheat bread or crackers.
